Elven Realm

Deep in the forest, a city of elves thrives, with a select number of humans, sorcerors and vampires. The city is named Drewyn and has two factions ruling it -one good, one evil. Each demands that they be sole ruler, and the citizens are confused in their loyalties, fearing the evil on one hand, and wishing to serve the good on the other.

Bio: Caleniel was bitten by a vampire whilst dying after an accident, and she awoke to her new state, horrified, but otherwise finding her emotions closed off. After a long absence, searching for a cure, she has returned, still containing the paleness of her vampire self. She is, however, completely cured, unless you count her semi-closed off emotions, which make her an odd character indeed.

Caleniel rode up to the inner gates of Drewyn, pulling her cloak from her head and stepping off of her horse nimbly. God, it was odd being back here, she thought. She glanced up at the castle, wondering what things had changed.

Caleniel was aware of a presence near her, her senses seeming oddly dulled for one who had been a vampire. She looked in the direction of the sense, and saw the figure as though in shadow. A mans build, she thought, a sturdy build, not overweight. She continued to stare, not realising it may seem rude.

Er'ril raised a bairly amused eye brow as the woman staired at him. With a murmerdd word and a flick of the wrist, the wind picked up, sending a rush of leaves between them, blocking her view of him. When the leaved were in the air, he took the opertunaty to disspaere into the shadows.

Caleniel narrowed her eyes, gazing distrustingly as the man disappeared. Oh, she thought. He's of that sort..Reaching to her throat she unclasped her cloak, her fingers searching instantly for the two scars which adorned her neck. Tiny though they were, she was aware of them more now than she ever was when they were a symbol of who she was. She was no longer that way and she didn't want people to get the wrong impression. She glanced again at the castle, nerves etched into her face, wondering if she would be an outcast after all that her affliction had made her do. Gulping, she began the short trek up the hill.

Other: Kree was Caleniel's lover at one time. He has resided in the city of Drewyn for as long as he can remember. He has no idea that Caleniel is alive. He thinks her to be long dead.

Kree sat idly in a tree at the top of a steed hill. His eyes were closed as if dozing. But infact he was wide awake listening to the sounds of the wind ratteling the leaves...

Er'ril reappeed amd started to walk back to the castle, the tail end of the cloak billowing around him as a small lighning storm played in the palm of one of his hands.

Caleniel looked up at one of the larger trees as she neared the castle, puffing ever so slightly - something she never normally would have done. She stopped dead as she saw a figure - Kree.

Kree opened his eyes slowly. Sensing someone was about. He jumped down from the tree landing greatfully on the ground. He looked around and his eyes fell on Caleniel. His eyes widened and he stepped back "It can't be" He whispered

Caleniel remained rooted to the spot, her eyes wide. He was the last person she had wanted to bump into on her way here. She had hoped to get settled first. "Kree..." she said softly, her voice devoid of all the laces of vampirism she had aquired, and had last spoken to him with. Now, she stood, pale, but not unnaturally so, and stared at the man she last remembered any kind of feelings for.

Kree was frozen where he stood. He shook himself out of it and walked slowly and cautiously towards her. He was unsure if she was real or not. He stopped right infront of her "Are you really here?"

"More than I was last time we spoke" she spoke gently, her voice sounding as terse as if she was treading on broken glass. She knew she had hurt him, and it was a difficult situation to be faced with him once again.

"Hate to break this up, Kree, but we got to get moving," Er'ril snapped as he appeared behind them.

Kree turned to look at Er'ril and narrowed his eyes "Get moving where?" He asked as he glanced back at his former lover. He shook his head. He wanted to know how she was back, What had happened and if she still loved him...

Caleniel looked at the man who had appeared, narrowing her eyes. "I saw you earlier." She snapped almost unfriendly in her tone. "When you pulled your little vanishing trick, which by the way, was not impressive...vampire." she recognised the 'symptoms' from her own span as one, and now had a distrust of them - she didn't want to risk being bitten again. She felt Kree's eyes on her but didn't return his look, strange feelings welling in her stomach.

Er'ril glanced at Caleniel, arching an eye brow and smirking, just slightly. "Whats it to you, Elf? Belive me, I would rather bite someone else here," he arched an eye brow and smirked at Kree.

Kree looked at Er'ril and blushed deeply. He returned his gaze to Caleniel and lowered his gaze. When he thought she was dead Er'ril had come to him..given him strength, Fed from him occassionally. He felt a little uncomfortable seeing as both Er'ril and Caleniel were not exactly friendly towards one another

"What do you mean?" Caleniel asked softly, then decided she didn't care nor want to know. Life had come harshly for her, the ressurection from death, and her very soul was weary. Three days she had been back from that world, and no rest seemed to make the transition easier. "I.." she began. She remembered the vampire calling her 'elf' and she smiled slightly. So it was noticeable. "I'm not what I used to be, Kree." she said more confidently, hoping he would know what she meant.

Er'ril chuckled lightly and rolled his eyes. "You where like me but you went and got 'the cure'..." he said dramaticly. "And you still smell like one- your no elf yet..." he turned away, the wind rising as he did.

Kree looked at his past lover and watched Er'ril "Er'ril.." He whispered as he felt torn between wanting to speak more with Caleniel, or go with Er'ril.

There was a sudden laugh from behind Caleniel. A tall dark haired man stood with his arms folded watching the trio

Caleniels fists clenched in fury as he spoke. "I'll never be as damned as you!" she yelled, then paused at the chuckle, turning to see the man behind them. Still enraged, her tone was sharp. "Who are you and what do you want!"

Er'ril rolled his eyes and turned to Kree. "C'mon..." he grunted, walking past the female.

Kree looked at Caleniel and smiled weakly "Catch up some other time?" He whispered as he noticed the stranger behind her. He walked along side Er'ril "Do you need to feed?" He asked

The young man smiled at her "Name's Kreth" He answered simply "I was just passing by...noticed you were having some trouble with those men.." He said as he held out his hand to her

She ignored it almost snobbishly, staring him in the eye. "Caleniel. The only ones who were having trouble were them." she responded. "I'm the trouble."

Growling, Er'ril nodded slightly as he walked at a slightly faster pace past the other elves. Kree was the only one that he trusted to be around him when he fed. Growling, he greated a small fire ball and tossed it from hand to hand irratably.
