Bio : Danté tells no one who or where or when he is from. He considers himself a different person now he is a Vampire. The weakling he once was is gone, and dead. He named himself Danté a few years after becoming a Vampire, from the latin meaning of 'Enduring, lasting'. He felt this name was appropriate, considering he would now endure until the end of time.[/url]

Maria stepped out onto the main balcony of the castle and looked up at the moon. The night was cold and the sky cloudless. Off in the distance she could see the forest. The tops of the trees glowed a silver color from the light of the moon. She sighed leaning on the railing of the balcony her figure barly seen in the night even though the glow of the moon was bright. she hummed an old song from her childhood as she twirrled one finger in her hair. she could not imagine leaving this place after being here song long and her childhood memories had faded in her mind accept that one song which she sung frequently.

Danté sat in a large, velvet-covered chair in front of a blazing fire, in one of the Castle's biggest rooms. He had one leg up on the chair arm, the other on the floor, and he dozed. However, he could not feel the warmth from the fire, he just took pleasure in seeing the dancing flames.

She shivered as a breeze brushed past her and decided it was time to go in. Maria took one last look at the moon for the night and headed back inside not sure where she would go next. she walked off down the main hall slowly with no intent or desire to hurry. her long dress dragged slightly on the ground behind her with a small swishing noise. as she walked she unconsciously counted the doors on either side of the hallway.

Kindra perched on a large wooden ledge, in the room not far from Danté. she watched as he dosed by the fire, sighing boredly, her gaze wandering round the room as she jumped down, her feet landing as gracefully and softly on the wooden flooring as that of a cats. She paced to the chair behind Danté and leant down, whispering in his ear. "I'm bored."

Maria stopped at the end of the hallway. Two big double doors stood before her closed. she stopped and listened and she could faintly hear the sound of a fire blazing. she stood there debating if she should open the doors and go in or walk back down the hall maybe go to the kitchen and get something to eat.

Dante opened his half-dead eyes, the feeling of Kindra's breath waking him more than her voice. He glanced at her lazily. "What do you suggest we do?" he asked, leaning forward slightly to poke at the burning embers with a metal rod.

"Find something to eat." she responded, her eyes glinting as they reflected the shooting sparks from the agitated fire. "I, unlike you, thrive on death...you seem to have gone a little... lax in your old age." She was taunting him, a favourite pasttime of hers, and knew which buttons to press to annoy him. Annoy a vampire. What a challenge.

her stomach growled for she had missed dinner that night. her thoughts turned to what delicious bits of food she might be able to find in the kitchen but, instead of turning for the kitchen she just stood there looking stupid looking blankly at the ground.

Danté made a growling sound in his throat, and glared at Kindra. "You know as well as I that feeding is becoming increasingly difficult. It's not like the old days - people are aware of us now, and avoid us like the plague." he spat, "Besides, I still have my sights on Maria. Have you given up on her, my sweet?" he finished, smirking at her.

Kindra brushed off his attempt to rile her, a taunting smile playing on her lips. "Why no, Danté, I just don't see why I can't have a little appetiser...or two...or three." her eyes glinted dangerously as she thought about all the people she would kill. "And besides the point, are you afraid of a little danger, Danté? Because if you are you shouldn't be near me."

Danté stood up and grabbed Kindra's wrists tightly, holding them up to his face. He leaned towards her, so their faces were almost touching. "I fear nothing." he said bluntly, and let her wrists go. "If you so lust for danger, go ahead, and I shall follow. I shall show you I am not weak."






(Sorry to force your char there hun! Thought it would be dramatic!))

Maria looked up towards the big doors thinking she heard voices and was most likely right but new the only two that could be in there would be Danté and Kindra and walking in on two vampires was not exactly the best idea. Maria decided she better go get something to eat before they spot her though for some reason she did not always mind there company but now her mind was on food. she turned and started down the hall paying more attention to where she was going. suddenly she stopped and turned around her curiosity was killing her and she felt drawn in that direction as if some one was pulling her that way. she raced back to the doors and leaned against them pressing her ear against the crack in the door wondering what they were talking about. Maria tried the handle on the door jiggling it a bit but found it locked. she sighed frustraited. "why this need to be in that room." she thought to herself. that fealing of being pulled in that direction still strong. she backed away from the door and leaned against the wall and crossed her arms. food was now the last thing on her mind.

Kindra laughed at him and made her way to the door, her long, pale fingers grasping the rusty iron key as she turned it, stiff in its lock. "Come on then, Danté" she teased, waiting for him to move from where he appeared to be rooted to the spot.

Maria looked up hearing the sound of the key being turned in the door. she knew who would be coming out that door. she stood up unfolding her arms waiting for the door to open. Maria new what would happen but could not stop it that fealing of being pulled in there direction even stronger that it was before.

Danté smirked at Kinda, and walked slowly towards her, making sure he took his time. "Ladies first, my dear." he said, and gave her an exaggerated bow.

Maria wished she could run and hide but she couldn't. she stood waiting for the door to open listening to Danté's words. her heart raced and her breath quickened as she stood there.

Danté halted just inside the room, and sniffed the air. "Ah Kindra, I do believe we have an untouchable lady in our presence." he said, his eyes parkiling mischivously.

Maria could not bear it any longer and turned and tried to run up the hall. The fealing of being drawn towards Danté and Kindra turned to dizzyness as she got farther and farther away. she tripped only a short distance down the hall and passed out from the dizzyness. Maria hit the ground rather hard but was not badly hurt.

a man standing 6 feet tall dressed in a black torn up shirt and black torn up pants, in his hand he holds a small girl by her hair who appears to be dead with blood running from her neck. the man has long black hair that goes down to the middle of his back and his skin is as pale as snow. his eyes a bright blood red and he has the little girls blood all over his mouth and dripping from his lips.
he walks down the long castle hallway draggin the dead girls body with him leaving a trail of the girls blood behind him

Maria wakes up slowly lifting herself up she is still dizzy but manages to stand up. she looks down the hall and sees a tall man holding a girl soaked in blood. she freezes terror filling her body. who was this man would he kill her to. she is unable to move her heart racing. Maria stands staring at him her eyes wide open.

carnage sees maria stareing at him and smileing evily as blood runs down his mouth dripping to the ground, he drops the little girl to the ground hard so you could hear her neck snap in two. carnage slowly beings to walk tworeds her as he cracks his knuckles and his neck then licking his lips then mutters out
Time for more Food

Maria stood frozen as the large creature came closer and closer. after a moment she started backing up her eyes locked on the beast that was coming towards her at an alarming rate. her back bumped the doors to the room Danté and Kindra were in. Maria stood with her back upagainst the the doors. the fear that griped her was so immense tears were flooding her face and she wanted to scream but nothing would come out. at the last moments before he reached her she curled her self into a ball on the floor her body shaking in fear.
